Imphal, March 29 2012: Any development scheme of all Government Departments sanctioned against each district of the State must be implemented accordingly through proper channel, the Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) has demanded.

In a statement, President of TKS, YS Yangmi Khapai today strongly warned that any department or official who makes centralised policy for their convenience and with a selfish motive will not be tolerated by the Tangkhul frontal organisations.

The statement asserted that legal action would be initiated against those persons or departments which work only for their selfish ends at any time.

Meanwhile, the TKS has appealed all concerned to extend support to the construction of a new threestoreyed office building at Hamleikhong, opposite the Mini Secretariat, Ukhrul.

It said that the students' body has been functioning without a proper office building since the past 80 years.

It appealed to all to extend support to the office construction which is undergoing now at the initiatives of the present executive members.
