CCpur conducts debate, painting, article writing in run up to wildlife week

CCpur, September 28 2017: The southern forest division, Churachandpur has over the week conducted debate, painting and article writing competition for students as a part of its preparation to observe the annual wildlife week on Wednesday .

Ten students from five schools have partaken at the trial round of the debate in which four participants were picked for the final .

Don Bosco and St Mary's were the two schools that will have their students pitched against each other at the final .

The spot painting and article writing competition was held in Tuesday with their performances evaluated yesterday and the results duly declared .

Joseph Genmuansang (class VIII) of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School; Boyai (class VIII) of Hermon English School, Bungmual and Muangminthang Tonsing (class VIII) of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School are declared as winners of the first, second and third slots in on-the-spot painting competition .

Nengpilhing (class X) of St Stephen English School, D Phailien; Khai Eleazar Thatsing (class XI) of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School and Chingthianhoih (class XII) of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School have merited as first, second and third at the on-the-spot article writing competition .

Prizes for the competitions will be distributed on October 4 at Rayburn College auditorium in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Shyam Lal Poonia and SP, Churachandpur Rakesh Balwal with the final round for the debate reserved for the event.
