Forest and Environment Minister Thounaojam Shyamkumar today attended the fifth phase of Khungang Chatse camp, organised by the District Administration Imphal East at the Angtha community hall, Angtha, Lemba Khul, Andro AC, Imphal East.
Speaking to media persons, the Minister said that the mission has delivered various Govt schemes at the doorsteps of the public, bringing transparency between the Govt and the public.
He sought cooperation from the local elected members and the officers while discharging their duties.
He also stated that the mission is aiding the local bodies in delivering the schemes to the beneficiaries and urged the department officials to sincerely work towards making the Mission a success.
He also sought support from the public to help the State Government in implementing various schemes for the beneficiaries and avail benefits of the schemes related to social benefits, health, education and identification of left out eligible beneficiaries for inclusion in Government programmes of housing, old age pension among others.
Altogether 32 stalls of different departments/offices were set up in the camp today and beneficiaries were given benefits under various schemes.
