KSO Sadar Hills expands executive body

Kangpokpi, January 27 2021: The newly elected office bearers of the Kuki Students' Organization Sadar Hills expanded its executive members yesterday at its Administrative Office building at Kangpokpi District Headquarters.

Kamgougin Lunkim and Thangrijoy Baite were inducted as Vice President while Paojangam Haokip, Seikholen Doungel, Thangmoilen Haokip and Lamlunmang Gangte were inducted as Information and Publicity Secretary, Assistant Information and Publicity Secretary, Forest and Environment Secretary and Legal Secretary respectively.

Kamgougin Kipgen and Seigin Lhungdim were also inducted as Speaker and Deputy Speaker.

The newly inducted members were sworn in by the President KSO Sadar Hills.

The student body also deliberated on the opening of educational institutions in the district and finally resolved to appeal to the State Government to prepare a new SOP for opening of schools in the district.

Considering the prolonged closure of schools and to promote a competitive mindset in the students after the opening of the schools, the student body decided to confer a cash reward and certification to top 5 students.

Deliberating on the issue of JNV, the student body has resolved that KSO Sadar Hills shall take befitting action to any educational institutions within the district found issuing fake certificates for entry in the JNV.

KSO Sadar Hills further resolved to strictly monitor the regularity and sincerity of the Government officers and employees of any departments posted in the District.
