Seminar on 'Sensitization of teachers on National Nutrition Month' held at ADC, Senapati

Autonomous District Council, Senapati has organised a one day seminar on "Sensitization of teachers on Rashtriya Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month)" under ADC, Senapati at ADC Hall, District Council, Senapati.
Earlier, Akha Lohrii, AI of Schools under District Council issued an order asking all headmasters and headmistresses under ADC, Senapati to attend the seminar in the name of the CEO, ADC, Senapati.
Regina Honry, who is also the new CEO of the ADC, Senapati said that teachers are the main people who can influence the students.
Calling teachers to have great influence on children's lives, the new CEO asked all to spread the valuable message they have learned from the resource persons to their children.
Dr Helen Shimray, District Malaria Officer, Senapati spoke on the topic "Health & Hygiene" as resource person where she said that the programme is all about inclusive health services for all ages both young and old.
The resource person asserted that the main aim and objective of the programme is to ensure attainment of malnutrition free India by 2022 .
Dr Kashung, District Medical Officer, ADC, Senapati also spoke on the topic, "Nutrition" as resource person.
Around 140 teachers from 141 schools under ADC, Senapati participated at the seminar.
