Free mobile medical and flood relief camp held

Imphal, August 26 2015:
SKY Group of Hospitals, Manipur in association with East West Healthcare & Research Institute, Imphal started providing free mobile medical and flood relief camp to people living along the course of Wangjing River.
The fifth phase of such mobile camp was conducted on August 23 covering Lamding Elangbam Leikai, Khumanthem Leikai, Laishram Leikai, Cherapur Thoubal district, according to a statement.

The flood relief camp is being organized with free medical check and necessary medicine for water borne diseases like diarrhoea, dysentery etc.
Altogether, 457 patients were examined.
Along with providing free medical camp, SKY Hospital also provided free rice, dal and chlorine tablets to 254 flood affected families.
The Hospital's Flood Relief Team was assisted by volunteers of Lamding SACA Club.
Dr L Shyamkishore Singh, chairman, SKY Hospital and Research Centre who personally supervised the free medical and flood relief activities at these places assured that such free mobile camp will be provided to needy people in other places of Manipur affected by recent flood under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the Hospital.
