Imphal, March 26 2012: A five-day State Level Residential Camp for inclusive education (CWSN) organised under the aegis of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, State Mission Authority, Manipur was inaugurated today at Kangshang, Khuman Lampak.

The inaugural function was attended by DC of Imphal West, N Ashok Kumar; Director of Education (S), W Rajen Singh, and Additional Director (Valley) as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Speaking at the occasion, N Ashok Kumar stressed on the need to identify the skill and talents of disabled children.

They should be encouraged to develop their talents.

W Rajen said that every child is unique.

The disabled children have their own talents whatever.

He emphasised on the need to identify the talents of the differently abled children.

A total of 90 children from across the nine districts of the State have participated in the camp.

A free medical camp would also be held for the participants.
