Training of life saving procedures held at RIMS

Imphal, August 25 2024:
A training course on "Basic Cardiopulmonary Life Support (BCLS) & Comprehensive Cardiopulmonary Life Support (CCLS) (Training of Trainers)" under Indian Resuscitation Council Federation was held at Examination Hall, RIMS, Imphal on Saturday.
It was graced by Prof G Sunil Kumar Sharma, Director, RIMS, Imphal; Prof N Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital; Prof AkoijamBrogen Singh, Dean (Academics), RIMS, Imphal; Prof Gojendra Rajkumar, Head, Department of Anaesthesiology, RIMS and Dr Reshu Gupta, Senior Consultant, Critical Care, Health City Hospital, Guwahati as presidium members, said a release issued by RIMS.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof G Sunil Kumar said as per the mandate of National Medical Commission (NMC), training of life saving procedures (BCLS & CCLS) are mandatory for Post-Graduation in the country.
The Director also appreciated the Department of Anaesthesiology, RIMS, Imphal for taking the lead in organising the "Training of Trainers" which will increase the knowledge of trainers.
