Imphal, September 24 2017: A two-day long 22nd Manipur University Inter College Literary Meet 2017 commenced today at the Centenary Hall, MU .

The inaugural function of the literary meet being organised by Manipur University Students' Union (MUSU) was attended by Prof N Mani Meitei, Dean, School of Humanities as chief guest; Naorem Naresh, social and culture secretary, MUSU as president and Prof N Nimai, HOD, Department of Physics as guest of honour .

Addressing the gathering, MUSU president Buchi Mayanglambam said that the literary meet is organised every year with an aim to instil the sense of nationalism and patriotism in students .

He informed that poetry and song competitions would be organised during the meet being participated by school and college students.
