Meritorious students from Moirang, Kakching Khunou feted

Moirang/Kakching, July 23 2020: M Manindra Memorial Trust and former MLA of Moirang Kendra, M Prithviraj Singh has feted 3 position holders of the recently declared Class XII examination conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education in Science stream, today.

Cash prizes, mementos and certificates were given to the students by visiting their respective homes.

The students feted today are Maisnam Tanushree Devi (2nd position holder), d/o M Budhachandra Singh and M (O) Bina of Phubala Makha Leikai; Hemam Ruchita Devi (8th position holder), d/o H Narendra Singh and H (O) Madhuri Devi of Lourakhraba Moirang Hemam Leikai and Ningthoujam Dildar Singh (18th position holder), S/o N Babumacha Singh and N (O) Ibemhal Devi of Lourakhraba Thamnapokpi Awang Leikai.

The team also encouraged Ch Ishworchandra Singh from Phubala who secured 7th position in this Class X examination conducted by BoSEM with a cash prize, memento and shawl.

On the other hand, the Social Development Association (SODA) also encouraged thirty-three meritorious students from Kakching Khunou Ward no 3 who cleared Class X and XII examinations conducted by CBSE, BOSEM and COHSEM.

The students were given a cash award of Rs 1, 000 each by SODA under the supervision of Kakching Khunou Municipal Council's Chairperson, Khumukcham Leima.
