Imphal, November 22 2010: NCC Group HQ, Imphal celebrated NCC Day at its NCC complex on November 21 .

Group commander Imphal Col Lalit Kapoor and Commanding Officer, 14 Manipur Bn NCC Lt Col SK Sapam graced the function as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.

ANOs, JCOs and 752 cadets from different schools and colleges participated in the function during which the cadets put up a lively and beautiful cultural show.

On the other hand, as in previous years, NCC Imphal in co-ordination with Association of Voluntary Blood Donors organised a blood donation camp on the occasion of NCC Day observance at RIMS today.

Commanding Officer Lt Col SK Sapam, Lt Nishikanta Singh, two Non-Commission officers, three ex-cadets and 67 cadets donated their blood during the camp.
