Imphal, August 22 2020: The first death anniversary of late G.Soihem Haomei, S/o Majanlung Gonmei, former Chairman, ADC, Tamenglong was held today at Neikanlong, Thangmeiband, Imphal.

Family members, relatives and friends, in adherence to Covid-19 lockdown SOPs, attended the event.

Late G Soihem was a social worker and a veteran politician of Zeliangrong community, hailing from Taosang village of Khoupum Sub-Division, Noney district.

He was the president of All Gonmei Kaikhong (All Gonmei Clannish Forum) when the departed leader passed away on August 22, 2019 at the age of 74.He was elected as a member of ADC, Tamenglong from Nungnang Circle ADC segment in 2010 and served as a Chairman of the Council from 2010-13 .
