Don't award bail on any conditions: JAC

Alleging that repeated attempts have been made to release the main accused of Okram Ningol Leishangthem ongbi Bidyarani death case on bail, the JAC formed in this matter appealed the authorities concerned to submit the charge sheet before the CJM Court concerned at the earliest.
Further alleging that some of the Jail's staff are conspiring with the accused relatives to release him on medical ground, the JAC continued that the names of staff are with them and will be published as and when required.
After the accused Leishangthem Sanayaima (35) of Thoubal Leishangthem Wangmataba was remanded in police custody, his brother L Shantana, despite assurance given to the JAC and maternal side of the deceased, is applying for bail repeatedly, the committee claimed and demanded that the accused should not be awarded bail on any condition and must be punished as per the law of the land.
Bidyarani was found hanged to death at her room on the intervening night of November 18 and 19 in a suspicious manner, added the JAC.
