Noney, July 20 2022: A Kharif crop campaign cuminput distribution programme was organised on Wednesday at Tupul village community hall under the 75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav by ICAR-KVK Tamenglong, ICAR RC for Northeastern Region Manipur Centre.

During the programme, KVK Tamenglong SMS (agronomy) Gaipuichung Kamei deliberated on 'maize based inter-cropping system' SMS (soil science) Dr I Bhupenchandra delivered a lecture on 'judicious use of fertiliser', SMS Sunanda Huidrom on 'plant protection' and SMS (animal science) Dr Sinyorita Soibam on 'disease management livestock' as the resource persons.

They also took part in an interaction session with farmers about crop plantations and to prevent from diseases.

As part of the programme, distribution of inputs and seeds by the staffers of ICAR-KVK to the farmers and lectures about how to use fertilisers inputs in different plants were conducted.
