State's lad Sochan Shadang of Grihang village under Ukhrul district got through one of the toughest medical exams of the country.

It may be mentioned here that Shadang is one of the few Manipuri students who have cleared the AIIMS entrance exam for medical studies.
A student of St Anthony's and Herbert School, he gave all he had for the past two years to appear for the exam as a fresher.
In a brief interaction with media persons at the academic block of MECI, he commented that all the exams are similar if one has clear concepts and any one can clear these exams if they are sincere enough.
