MOMA distributes Watermelon to Police and Covid Health Workers

Imphal, May 20 2021: Manipur Organic Mission Agency (MOMA) distributed watermelons to Covid Health Workers and Police today.

MOMA said watermelons were distributed in recognition of the contribution all the Covid Health Workers and Police are doing in this time of the pandemic.

A team led by K Devdutta Sharma, project director, MOMA distributed the edible items to Imphal Police Station, Singjamei PS, Lamphel PS, Porompat PS, Police personel on duty at different part of the state.

The team also visited the directors' office at RIMS and JNIMS and handed over the edible items to doctors and staff of the hospitals.

Dr Th Bhimo, director JNIMS, expressed gratitude to MOMA for the fresh fruits gifted to doctors and healthcare workers that have been working days in and days out for the welfare of the people.

SP Meghachandra also said MOMA stepping in to buy farm produces of farmers during the pandemic is a great initiative.
