Thoubal, November 19 2023: Hangamthabi Youth Club (HYC) renovated the Hangamthabi road by mending the potholes.

In connection with the renovation of the road, HYC in a press note expressed gratitude to Abdul Barik, Councillor Ward no 6, Lilong Municipal Council and M Rajen, EO, Lilong Municipal Council for their support and cooperation.

The club also appealed to the Government to do proper demarcation of this road and to evict the trespasser in view of the traffic congestion along this road owing to the location of various Government offices.

This road is the main approach road of various State Government offices namely Sub-Divisional Office (SDO) Lilong; Sub-Deputy Collector Office, Lilong; Office of Deputy Inspector of School, Lilong; Veterinary Hospital and Lilong Municipal Council Office.

The club also appealed to the Government to construct drains on both sides of the road.
