Two Day National Seminar on Protection of forest inaugurated

A two day National Seminar on Protection of Forest for Sustainable Development in Manipur was inaugurated today at Rayburn College, New Lamka, Churachandpur.
The inauguration function was graced by Minister (Veterinary and Animal Husbandary ) Shri V.Hangkhanlian, Vice Chancellor, MU Prof.Adya Prasad Pandey and Principal, Rayburn College Rev.Khen P.Tombing as Chief guest, Guest of honour and President respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri V.Hangkhanlian expressed his desire to plant more trees and protect the forest and environment for sustainable development of the people.
He further said that his concerned is solve water scarcity, bad road condition and improvement of the town.
He appeals to the students and participants to bring good fruit for the sustainable development of the forest.
The main aim of the seminar is to give awareness to the people about the importance of protecting and preserving forest for future development of the people of the state.
