More youths of Kpi benefit through KYGC

Kangpokpi, November 18 2017:
The Kangpokpi Youth Guidance Cell (KYGC), an initiative of 38 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Red Shield Division, Kangpokpi district has provided numerous benefits to the youths of the district in finding a career for themselves and a future for their family.
The Youth Guidance Cell helped ten educated unemployed youths of the district in achieving free training course of one year in various fields at Guwahati and a job placement after the training in September.
In another recent achievement, KYGC has managed to place nine youths from Kangpokpi district to successfully clear the army recruitment held in Leimakhong last month and helped to manage around 20 educated unemployed youths in getting selected for the 3-6 months course in Central Institute of Plastic Engineering at Imphal, following which a
campus placement will be greeting them in securing jobs.
The Youth guidance cell serves as a data collection centre for interested students who will be intimated of job opening by the cell, according to the resume they submit.
It also serve as counselling and guidance cell for entry in armed forces, Central and State police force and other Government jobs while providing a mini library and internet access portal to the youths.
The Kangpokpi Youth Guidance Cell was opened with the wholehearted support of KSO Sadar Hills and the local bodies and is supervised by 38 AR Kangpokpi Post and KSO Sadar Hills in collaboration with local youths.
Various local bodies and CSOs, Kangpokpi expressed its sincere gratitude to the Assam Rifles for their commendable initiative and further lauded the AR for their relentless efforts for the welfare of the people.
