Thoubal, July 17 2015 : Womenfolk of Wangjing along with local clubs took out on a torch rally at around 8pm yesterday joining the popular demand for implementation of ILP, our correspondent reports.

The rally was jointly organised by All Wangjing Meira Paibi Lup, FUC-Wangjing Tekcham Leikai, SEMDYC and YVA and Wangjing SK Leikai.

The rally ended at Imphal-Moreh highway with participants shouting slogans like 'Implement ILP in the State', 'Save indigenous people', 'Punish police personnel involved in the killing of Robinhood' etc.

Similar protest was seen at other parts of Thoubal district like Tentha, Waikhong, Thounaojam, Yangdon, Thongjao and Elangkhanpokpi organised by the meira paibis and clubs.
