Sushila murder case

Imphal, July 17 2014:
The joint action committee (JAC) fighting for justice in the killing of Elangbam Sushila Devi and his daughter today demanded Manipur Government to chargesheet all the culprits involved in the alleged murder case.
Sushila (33) was found hung to death inside her house at Keishamthong Elangbam Leikai in Imphal West on July 1 last.
Alongside, her 10 months old daughter was also found dead in the bed under mysterious circumstances.
The JAC has been accusing the victim's husband and his first wife of murdering Sushila and her daughter.
The JAC is not satisfied with the investigation being carried out by the Investigating Officer (IO) of the murder case of Sushila, Sub-Inspector Ronita Maisnam of Imphal West Police Station and hence she must be replaced by another police officer, Convenor of the JAC, Thangjam Dilip demanded while addressing a press meet at the local club of Sagolband Tongbram Leikai in Imphal West.
Elangbam Dhiren and his first wife Laishram Ningol Bidyalaxmi Devi, who are now in judicial custody, should be chargesheeted in connection with the killings of Sushila and her baby at the earliest, Dilip further demanded.
