V Valte inaugurates recreational park

CCpur, February 15 2020: A recreational park developed over 8 acres of land on a foot-hill featuring children theme recreational materials and games, two separate picnic spots and a dedicated restaurant, was opened today at Mata Village, Churachandpur.

Chairman of Manipur Tribal Development Corporation (MTDC) Vungzagin Valte inaugurated the K Aichin Recreational Park, in the presence of Dy Chairman ADC Churachandpur Paolal Haokip; ADC Member M Gouzamang; Lallunkam, Chief of Mata and dozens of particularly invited families.

The park which combine a unique blend of aesthetics, children, recreational area and a vast area of spaces for hanging and eating out will be opened on most days except on Sunday.

Valte, while praising the initiative, said that park will benefit both young and the old with a well groom healthy environment.

He also said the park and resort which opened recently are utilised and promoted in a positive manner they could very well turn-up as a tourist attraction.

Seesaw, merry-go-round, swing-sets, slide, jungle gym, wall climbing, rope and ladder climbing, rock climbing, trampoline etc are installed at the park.

The swimming pool is still in the construction stage and it will be ready before this summer, sources said.
