AMRPSWA urges people to help in reopening of schools

Expressing concerned that the future of students is grim; All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) has urged the public for cooperation in reopening schools.
A release issued by AMRPSWA secretary P Roman Singh said that educational institutes remained closed since the last few days due to the prevailing law and order situation in the state.
The sudden announcement of school closure has affected the student community.
The future of the students will be affected if the teachers failed to discuss and took part in the various initiatives taken by several bodies including COHSEM and BSEM.
After thorough discussion, the association submitted memorandum to the education minister, Education (S) commissioner and Education (S) director, the release said.
It also expressed confidence that the government will definitely take up necessary initiatives, while adding that the future of Manipur will be dark if education sector is paralysed.
The statement further stressed the importance of reopening schools at the earliest.
