Naga flag, Tricolor hoisted side by side

Amidst the intensive Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in the State, the Naga flag was seen hoisted along National Highway 2 and in the Naga inhabited areas along with the Indian flag.
The Naga people are all set to celebrate the 76th Naga Independence Day tomorrow.
The Naga flag was seen hoisted on both sides of National Highway 2 in T Khullen area.
In some locations, the Naga flag was seen hoisted together with the Tricolour.
A man was also seen putting the Naga flag on his head and roaming freely in T Khullen Village.
At Senapati district headquarters, the National flag was seen hoisted along the roadside together with the Naga flag.
The Naga flag was also seen hoisted in most households.
According to the flag code, no other flag or bunting should be placed higher than or above or side by side with the National flag.
The United Naga Council reportedly instructed the Naga people to observe the 76th Naga Independence Day in their respective places.
Notably, the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign was launched today in the State ahead of the 75th Independence Day of India (August 15).Prime Minister Narendra Modi had urged all Indians to hoist the National flag in their homes from August 13 to August 15 .
