Imphal, August 11 2015 :
Manipur People's Party (MPP) has said that NSCN (IM) leader VS Atem's statement that the demand for greater Nagalim is still alive must not be taken lightly.
In a statement, the regional party said that the Centre must spell out the details of the Indo-Naga framework agreement to the Governments of Manipur, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
In Assam, the Government there has constituted an all political parties' committee to discuss the matter with the Central Government in New Delhi.
In this regard, MPP questioned whether the Government of Manipur has formed a similar committee for the State.
The party asked the Centre and State Government not to take any decision which may create another June 18 uprising.
