Noney DC interacts with village authority members

Imphal, April 11 2017: Noney DC H Rupachandra Singh and his team including 3 Sub-Divisional Officers of Noney, Nungba and Haochong met the village leaders of Noney at the resident of Longmai Village Authority's chairman Meidon Gangmei.

The meeting discussed the infrastructural development of Noney district HQs.

The village leaders requested the Deputy Commissioner to be in station and look into the issues faced by the general public.

The villagers also requested to make all the Government Departments function efficiently. The Deputy Commissioner assured that on meeting with the village authority members and CSOs leaders will be fixed on 15th of every month.

The DC also sought for public co-operation for smooth implementation of official works.

It may be mentioed that the offices of the Deputy Commissioner and Block Officers are being temporarily set up at Integrated Tourist Destination, Tupul.

The Integrated Tourist Destination was constructed in 2010 with an estimate cost of more than 4 crore but is yet to be inaugurated.
