CRPF reaches out

Imphal, May 09 2016:
As part of its continued effort to reach out to
locals with the aim to promote better relations, 69 Bn CRPF under
the auspices of IGP, Manipur and Nagaland Sector, CRPF organ-
ised a civic action programme today at its headquarters located at
Mantripukhri.
According to a statement, the CRPF donated water tanks
(1000, 500, 200 litres capacity) to Kripa Foundation,
Koirengei, Reformed Presbyterian Church, Langol and Meth-
odist Church, Lamphel.
It provided water purifier (15 litres capacity) to Tabitha
Children Home.
Solar lanterns/lamps (230 V + 15 AC 50 hz) were given
to Lamlongei Mantripukhri Multipurpose Cooperative Soci-
ety, NEROCA FC, Chajing Inat Kanba Lup and NISA.
The CRPF also provided sports items to THAU and
Heingang Kendra Sporting Union, Khabam Leikai.
According to the statement, a free medical camp was also
organised wherein medicines were distributed.
The medical camp was presided by K Vijay Kumar, IGP,
CRPF, M&N Sector and attended by Commandant of 86 Bn
Jayant Kumar, Dr Florence Dangmei, CMO, CH, Imphal,
Arun Kumar, 2 IC, 69 Bn CRPF and other officials of CRPF.
