Skill training on hospitality management commences

Senapati, October 08 2024: A two month skill training on Hospitality Management was kicked off today at the DRDA Hall in Senapati district.

The training programme is organised by the Department of Tourism under "Hunar Se Rozgar" Scheme and undertaken by Primero Skill Training Centre, Delhi as the master trainer.

Modules of the training include table management, serving styles, balancing technique of items or orders, menu management, cocktails and drinks (non-alcoholic), crockery (Western and Indian), table set up, function and banquet layout, soft skills and computer skills to be taken up during the training.

After completion of training, certificates will be issued to all candidates and they may get opportunities for job placements in hospitality industry, according to Ranjeet Kumar, Food & Beverage Service Trainer from Primero Skill Training Centre, Delhi.

The District Administration Senapati has further invited youths in the district to grab the opportunity to join the skill training at the earliest.
