Imphal, February 08 2021: As many as 1,612 frontline workers received the COVID-19 vaccine shots today taking the total number of frontline workers who have received the vaccination to 9,946 .

The total figure is inclusive of the first phase.

The number of healthcare workers vaccinated till today is 9,570 .

Healthcare workers who have got vaccinated include Directors of RIMS, JNIMS, Chief Medical officers and chairman cum managing director of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics.

They were vaccinated in the first phase.

There have been 37 cases of mild reactions following vaccination, but all them have recovered.

There is no report of any adverse side effects of the vaccination till date, said the report.
