Awareness programme begins

A 2-week entrepreneurship awareness programme organised by Micro Small & Medium Enterprises-Development Institute, Takyel Industrial Estate, Imphal in association with Sustainable Opportunity for Universal Livelihood (SOUL) and Apunba Moirang Kendra Loumee Lup (AMKLL) under the aegis of Ministry of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India, began today at Kwakta High School under Moirang Assembly Constituency.
The programme is being participated by altogether 25 trainees.
Kwakta Municipal Council Chairperson, Minarjan; Councillor, Md Abdul Salam; MSME-DI Imphal Asst Director (Stats), Thounaojam Nanadakishore Singh; SOUL president, T Sanajaoba Singh; AMKLL president, Shakil Ahmad; Manipur Industries Development Council Chairman, P Loken Singh; course coordinator, K Chandrakumar Singh and senior citizen L Ibungo Singh attended the inaugural programme as the presidium members.
On the occasion, T Nandakeshore Singh said that the awareness programme is being organised under Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) scheme to encourage unemployed youths to be self-reliant by giving training on different fields.
