Imphal, October 07 2023: An Ayushman Health Mela was conducted at Haobam Marak Ngangom Leikai Ema Laikhulembi Shanglen yesterday under the aegis of the Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) , Kwakeithel.

The health mela was held in line with the Nationwide Ayushman Bhavah campaign aimed at promoting healthcare facilities and schemes to the beneficiaries surpassing all boundaries.

Around 131 individuals were examined for various health care concerns during the mela by the doctors and staff of UPHC Kwakeithel.

A health awareness talk on the topic 'Mother and Child Health Care, Breast Feeding and Routine Immunization' was also conducted.

In addition to providing free medicines, Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) cards were also generated for 51 eligible beneficiaries during the health mela.
