38 AR celebrates Teachers' Day at Good Shepherd English School, Kpi

In yet another good will gesture on the part of the Assam Rifles under Red Shield Division, 38 AR Kangpokpi Post helped an orphanage school atKangpokpi and celebrated Teachers' Day yesterday.
Good Shepherd English School, Kangpokpi is an orphanage school at Kangpokpi DHQs where more than 300 poor and needy students from different parts of the district avail education in a pleasant surrounding near to the Assam Rifles Post at Ward No 11 in Kangpokpi DHQs.
The para military force helped the school by providing various materials including tea and snacks while assisting them in organizing an impressive Teachers' Day celebration apart from organizing lectures on various important issues such as basic first aid, health and hygiene, sanitation and prevention of Malaria disease from medical representative of the Assam Rifles.
Meanwhile, authority of Good Shepherd English School, Kangpokpi expressed gratitude and sincere appreciation to the Assam Rifles for their priceless humanity and concerned for the poor and needy students.
Joseph Hekhup Kipgen, Principal of the school said that among many other kind-hearted individuals and well-wishers, Assam Rifles has always helped the school since the past many years in kind and service in the larger interest of the students.
The Assam Rifles always stood there for the school in time of troubles and hardships, he said appreciating the para military force for its kindness and nobility.
The Principal also appealed to the Assam Rifles to continue their humanitarian service towards the school in the near future.
