Imphal, October 05 2024: Thang-Ta has been introduced as a subject at Princeton International School, Kshetrigao Awang Leikai, Imphal East under the aegis of Kanglei Indigenous Martial Arts & Cultural Society (KIMACS).

According to a release issued by KIMACS, a simple function was held at Princeton International School on Saturday to mark the opening of Thang-Ta as a subject.

It was attended by KIMACS president Ningthoujam Ajitkumar, Princeton International School vice principal (hostel), Sangaimayum Kamal Sheikh and head warded Nasir Loveson Khan Hazari as presidium members.

At the event, Khoisnam Suresh Khaba, instructor of Thang-Ta subject, introduced Thang-Ta to the students by educating them about the rules and principles of this art form and how best to adhere to them.
