DPC faced candidates threaten bandh

Imphal, June 05 2011: The Havildar, Constable, Radio Telephone Operator DPC Faced Candidate Association have demanded immediate notification of DPC results threatening to call a 36 hours statewide bandh from 5 am of June 9 to 7 pm of the next day if the government fails to do so on or before June 8 .

Convener, K Rajen told media persons that the recruitment rally for the said posts was held in 2008 and DPC in April and May, 2010 .

However the results have still not been announced.

They submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister on April 26 to which they got no reply or intimation from the government till now.

They also submitted a memorandum today to the Governor, Chief Minister, Chief Secretary and DGP regarding their demand, he said.
