Imphal, September 02 2011: The Travel and Tourism Fair 2011 was inaugurated today at Nehru Centre, Mumbai by KK Chettry, Commissioner cum- Director (Tourism) as chief guest along with Director, Tourism Authority of Thailand.

The fair will be held from September 2 to 4 .

Different stakeholders from Manipur are currently participating in the fair.

The Manipur team is led by KK Chettry along with L Ibochoubi, Tourist Officer, Dr L Surjit, president, MMTA, HRK Sharma, Managing Director, Seven Sisters Holidays, Santosh Shekhar, Manager-Business Development, Shija Hospitals and Sommykanta Paonam, Manager-Marketing, The Classic Hotel.

A press release e-mailed by Team Manipur, TTF, Mumbai said that during the fair representatives of Manipur Tourism along with the stakeholders will be showcasing the tourism potential of the state apart from promoting the forthcoming Manipur Sangai Festival which is held annually from November 21 to 30 .

The fair is being participated by more than 400 stakeholders from different parts of the world.
