In a joint statement, president of Council TNBC Rev L Ningdhar and general secretary TNBC Rev Ephraim Shaiza denounced the bomb blast as an act of cowardice and said injuring innocent people shall never bring any good to the society.
Everyone should condemn such act of triggering bomb blast in the State, the joint statement said, while appealing to all concerned not to repeat such act in the future.
The Autonomous District Council (ADC), Churachandpur has also strongly condemned the bomb blast at the temporary offices of the ADC, Chandel, Senapati and Tamenglong located inside Khuman Lampham complex on May 28 in which three innocent women of a family sustained injuries.

On the other hand, District Congress Committee (DCC), Chandel district has come out strongly against the blast that left an innocent mother and her two daughters injured seriously.
Condemning the attack, president of DCC Chandel NS Mephul pointed out that the inhumane and barbaric act would have claimed the lives of many more people had the ADC members attended office on that fateful day.
Mephul observed that with restoration of power to ADC, the people have started reposing faith that it would bring peace and developmental works at the grassroots level.
He also appealed to the individual/group responsible for the attack to come forward with an explanation.
