Imphal, July 31 2024: The 7-days celebration of ORS Week organised by thePediatric Association of Manipur (PAM) under the theme, "Diarrhoea Ki Roktham, Safai Aur ORS Se Rakhen Apna Dhyan" concluded today at the Banting Hall of RIMS, Imphal, The closing function was graced by Prof G Sunil Kumar Shanna, Director, RIMS, Imphal; Prof N Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital; Prof N Kameshwore, EB, CIAP (Manipur & Tripura); Dr L Basanta Singh, Honorary Secretary, PAM and N Ibemhal, Chief Nursing Officer i/c, RIMS Hospital as presidium members, said a release issued by RIMS.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof G Sunil Kumar highlighted the benefits and importance of Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) .

He also emphasized the significant role played by health workers in trying to disseminate the knowledge of health awareness programmes to the public.

The function was also attended by HODs, Nursing officials, staff and students of RIMS, Imphal.
