Dr Yaronsho Ngalung distributes essential items in Ukhrul town

Ukhrul, May 31 2021: Dr Yaronsho Ngalung, caretaker chairman of Ukhrul ADC distributed essential commodities to 1200 households of Ukhrul in a simple function held at Phungreitang, Ukhrul.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Yaronsho stated that the relief items were sponsored by the Joshua & Yuimiwon Nevis family of Mumbai, who owns the Nevis Trading & Investment Consultant Pvt Ltd Mumbai.

Dr Yaronsho read out the message forwarded by Nevis family, expressing their deep concern and love to the people of Ukhrul.

He also mentioned that 800 packages more would be distributed in Ukhrul town and Hungpung while the remaining would be given to destitute homes, widows and Tongou DCC.

AHTA chairman, Chonmi Raleng and Peter Wungmaying, headman Hungpung village expressed their appreciation and gratitude for the humanitarian assistance during the pandemic.

Later, Dr Yaronsho handed over the relief items to AHTA chairman and Headman of Hungpung.
