Six injured in road mishap

CCpur, February 28 2018:
At least six passengers were injured today while heading for the interior village of Songsang when the 407 truck they were traveling met a mishap near Khotuh village, about 20 kms from here.
The truck with its load of passengers left the town about an hour prior to bumping on a road side nullah at about 8.30 am.
The KKL Tuila Block swiftly responded on learning about the mishap and commissioned two private vehicles to transport 6 injured passengers to the district hospital Churachandpur.
The six injured persons have been identified as Zara Singson (42) s/o (L) Ngamkhomang of Songsang; Thanglalmon (21) s/o Vungkholal of Songsang; Lamminthang (20) s/o Seilal of Khongjang; Lenthoum (25) s/o Nekboi of Phaijang; Malsawm (20) of Senting and Kimkhoneng (40) of Buolmol.
At least one of them have been referred to JNIMS, Imphal and has been taken on a KKL Ambulance for further treatment said a source.
