Thiyam Nilamani Singh conferred with National Corona Warrior Award

Imphal, December 31 2021: Global Corona Warrior Award Committee, India has conferred Thiyam Nilamani Singh with the National Corona Warrior Award, 2021 for his service in the field of Anti-Covid (2nd Wave) 'awareness creation and providing necessary medical and health services' among others.

A statement from Youth Organisation Sporting Club, Khurai Konsam Leikai, Imphal East has informed that Thiyam Nilamani Singh is currently a Hindi teacher at Khurai Popular School as well as being a life member of Indian Red Cross Society Manipur State Branch and vice president of Tinsid Road Youth Sports and Cultural Association.

Th Nilamani Singh who hails Khurai Ningthoubung Leikai Thiyam Nilamani Singh has consistently distributed masks and sanitizers to students and also provided them with study materials and other essential items, the statement added.

Th Nilamani has also participated in various vaccination drives and distribution of essential items to people in containment zones and participated in blood donation camps a total of 29 times.

Youth Organisation Sporting Club applauded and expressed gratitude to Th Nilamani Singh for his heroic efforts.
