ZRO/ZRA refute circulation made in social media to dissolve Zomi Council as false and untrue

Imphal, December 31 2018: Zomi Re-unification organization (ZRO) refuted a circulation made in social media that claimed to dissolve the Zomi Council (an apex body of the Zomi tribes) as untrue and false, said a statement issued by TK Zomi, Director (Ops), Zomi Re-unification organization.

It said that the circulation is made by a person with deranged mind and is a mere hoax circulated with the ill intention to create confusion among the innocent people and added that the action is a desperate attempt by Calvin H and his cohorts who are antithesis to reconciliation, peace and building together a vibrant Zomi nation.

The statement maintained that the sole objective of Calvin H and his associates is to marginalize the Zomi, destabilize unity of the Zomi and its institutions and made them vulnerable at such crucial stage of the ongoing peace process and political talk, so as sideline the ZRO/ZRA in the ongoing peace process to give advantage to other organizations.

It is unfortunate that Calvin H, despite being terminated for his attempted coup, continues his anti-party and anti-Zomi activities, added the statement and informed the public that, after having closely monitored and examining his activities, patience of Zomi Re-unification organization has been tested to the limit.

Therefore, it is now crystal clear that there are parasites within the organization in particular and the Zomi in general who are inimical to peaceful solutions which shall be acted upon appropriately as per the oath and in accordance with the cause ZRO/ZRA have been sacrificing for, maintained the statement.
