Ukhrul, July 30 2013:
The Tangkhul Frontal Organisation (TFO) has rejected outright the claim of parents/guardians rescued from a Home in Jaipur run by one Jacob John that the hymens of their children got ruptured during the medical tests held at Ukhrul District Hospital.
There has been news report that quoted the parents/guardians of children rescued from a Home in Jaipur of claiming that the hymens of the rescued children got ruptured during the medical tests held at Ukhrul District Hospital and the accused Jacob John had done nothing wrong to them.
A meeting of TFO convened today in the light of the news report dismissed the claim of the parents/guardians while pledging not to compromise with it when the true nature of Jacob John was already known.
The TFO said the claim of the parents is made with a motive to tarnish the image of the community.
Meanwhile, when contacted, the Medical Superintendent i/c of Ukhrul Hospital said the medical examination was carried out after a joint sitting with the district administrator
on April 24 .
The medical examination was conducted by specialist doctors; Paediatricians, medicines and gynaecologists wherein Urine test, Vision test, X-rays and external examination were conducted on the children.
The fact that most of the kids have medical and gynaecological problems were ascertained during the investigation, she said.
Alleging the doctors of getting ruptured the hymens of the children is hollow and not justified, the MS said.
At the same time, Leisan, member of CWC stated that those persons are misguiding the innocent parents.
The issue of Jacob John came out in limelight after report about a Nagaland girl being sexually exploited at his home.
