2 students from Kakching set to participate in National Science Congress

Thoubal, December 29 2024: Two Manipuri students from Kakching district are set to represent Manipur in the National Children's Science Congress, 2024 to be held at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

The event is organised by Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal and is scheduled to be held from January 3-6 at Ravindra Bhavan Conventional Centre in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

The two students, Naorem Merina of Grace Cottage and Educational Development Foundation (Grace Cottage Academy) and Kshetrimayum Pumaraj of Kakching Higher Secondary School was selected among the 10 students of the State who were selected to represent Manipur at National Science Congress organised by Science Teachers Forum Manipur.

Merina Devi who hails from Kakching Ningthou Leikai is the daughter of Naorem Lukhoi and will participate in the National Children's Science Congress on the project "Reprocessing the Waste of Bamboo Strips into Eco Friendly Rope" .
