Imphal, November 29 2024: Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, has urged the public to be cautious of fraudulent recruitment agencies and individuals misusing the name of the institute.

A press release issued by RIMS Media Cell said that RIMS authority has been made aware of fraudulent activities by certain individuals/ Security Service falsely claiming to represent RIMS, Imphal.

"These impersonators are targeting job seekers, demanding money in exchange for employment opportunities", it added.

The RIMS authority also emphasized that presently there is no such recruitment process going on through such dubious agencies and the institute does not, under any circumstances, request payments or fees for recruitment.

"Such actions are strictly against our policies.

We strongly condemn such fraudulent activities and urge the public to remain vigilant and report any such incidents immediately", it added.

"RIMS is committed to taking strong legal action against those individuals or Security Service involved in these deceptive/fraudulent practices to protect the interests of innocent job seekers and uphold our integrity", it added.

The RIMS authority further urged all concerned to visit the official website, "www.rims.edu.in" for authentic information on RIMS recruitment.
