Kakching, November 28 2024: As part of the ongoing 9th Manipuri Literature Festival organised by Manipur State Kala Akademi (MSKA), Imphal, in different parts of Tripura, a two-day Festival of Narrative Arts was held at Tarou Mandop, Nalgaria, and Lainingthou Puthiba Shanglen (Puthiba Devata Bari Lane), Abhoynagar, Agartala on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

The festival at Tarou Mandop was attended by Wari Leeba 'Guru' Ksh Prabir, MSKA executive member L Brajamohon, and Manipuri Literary and Cultural Forum, Tripura senior member Laipubam Ranjan as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Ningombam Bira, B Nabachandra, W Chinglen and S Nanaophula performed at the event narrating story of Mahabharata.

Dr BR Ambedkar national awardee N Niranjan Datta, Puthiba Lai Harao-ba Committee, Tripura president Oinam Debdas, Marup daily joint editor RK Tarunjit and social activist W Ranjit attend ed Wednesday's event at Lainingthou Puthiba Shanglen as presidium members.

Mutum Chanu Yoihenbi, and Yumnam Sachitrananda & his team presented narration of Meetei Puya.
