The Hill Districts Recognized Private Schools Association (HIDIPSAM) is all set to organize a school rally in all hill districts of the State against the alleged insentivity of the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur towards the grievances of the recognized private schools of the hill districts on November 4 .
A HIDIPSAM press release signed by its general secretary Seikhojam Kipgen said that the association is tremendously irked with the callousness of the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur in its approach towards the grievances as highlighted in the memorandum submitted in November 2014 .
He continued that in the light of BoSEM going ahead with Addl English and MIL issue much against the interest of the tribal populace, the executive meeting held today at MBC Women Conference hall, Imphal, resolved to hold a rally on November 4 in all the six district headquarters in order to press forward the demand for revocation of the State Cabinet's resolution on the language issue.
He further said that the issue of Addl English and MIL has affected numerous students in the hill districts and with the approaching of HSLC-2016, many class X students are still in a fix as many of them are restricted in their choice of subject.
The HIDIPSAM secretary also warned that the association will not necessarily bow and follow blindly the education policies framed unless Principals are consulted on matters relating to the choice of subjects and students' welfare.
