Army recruitment rally to be held at Leimakhong, DC Kpi directs SP, DLOs for assistance

Kangpokpi, September 27 2017:
A week-long army recruitment rally for the enrolment of eligible candidates into Indian Army, from all districts of the State, will be conducted at Football Ground Kendriya Vidyalaya, Leimakhong, Kangpokpi district from October 3 .
The recruitment rally will include for sportsmen, NCC certificate holders, sons of servicemen/ex-servicemen/war widows as Soldier General Duty (GD), Soldier Clerk/Store keeper, Technical/Inventory Manager, Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant (NA) and Soldier Tradesmen into the Indian Army and Havildar Education of NE Region and Servicemen .
It is expected that not more than 3000 candidates (approximately) per day from various districts will converge at the venue for the screening process .
In connection with the recruitment rally, Deputy Commissioner Kangpokpi, T Ranjit Singh, has directed SP Kangpokpi and other District Level Officers including SDO Kangchup-Geljang, CMO Kangpokpi, ZEO Kangpokpi and DIO Kangpokpi to assist in the recruitment rally .
T Ranjit, who is also the District Magistrate, directed SP Kangpokpi for adequate security arrangement to maintaining law and order at the proposed site, during the rally, and to deploy traffic police personnel at appropriate sites for smooth control of vehicles plying in and around the rally site .
He further directed SDO Kangchup-Geljang to take necessary arrangements by collaborating with all concerned authorities to prevent any untoward incidents .
He further detailed SDC/EM, Kangpokpi A Subol Singh and SDC/EM, Saitu-Gamphazol T Opendra Singh for Magisterial duty on rotational basis .
The DC also directed the Chief Medical Officer, Kangpokpi to deploy a medical team consisting of nursing assistants and other available paramedical staff at the recruitment site while directing the Zonal Education Officer, Kangpokpi to provide responsible officer/staff at the site for verification of educational certificates and any other related matter .
District Information Officer (DIO), Kangpokpi was also directed to make necessary arrangement for a wide publicity of the recruitment rally .
As per inputs from a reliable source, more than 80 candidates alone in Kangpokpi areas have applied online for the recruitment rally.
They were given a pre-recruitment rally training at Kangpokpi by 38 AR Kangpokpi Post Commander, it added.
