Imphal, May 27 2016 :
JD (U) State president M Tombi has said that his party has no intention to snub any issue of the State.
Speaking at an election meeting organised by party candidate of IMC Ward No 7, RK Ibungosana at Sagolband Tera Amudon, Tombi said that JD (U) wishes to show its utmost respect to the JCILPS Women Wing volunteers for enquiring why the all political parties delegation has been delaying their proposed Delhi tour to press the Centre to convert the three Bills into Acts.
He said that people need to elect leaders who can work in their service with dedication.
Tombi opined that only those leaders who get elected without spending huge amount of money would be able to think and work for the masses.
He said that the party Core Committee has given approval to 17 persons from Sadar Hills led by Thangkhosei Vaiphei and MA Jabbar from Lilong Haoreibi Mayai Leikai to join the party.
MA Jabbar would be the party candidate in Lilong AC in the State Assembly elections 2017, Tombi announced.
Saying that the State would see progress only when people elect competent leaders without taking money, Tombi urged the public to support his party in the coming elections.
