Imphal, October 26 2012: The district level Kut of Tamenglong will be celebrated at Phaitol Lentol under Tousem subdivision on November 1 .

Z Kikhonbou Newmai, MLA of Tamei; K Humalibou, VC of ADC Tamenglong and C Arthur, DC of Tamenglong would grace the celebration as the chief guest, guest of honour and functional president respectively, according to DLKC, Tamenglong statement.

The evening entertainment programme would be graced by Henjang Vaiphei, CO 87 Bn CRPF, Uchathol; Col K Anil Kumar, Commandant of 22 AR and Tingkhohoi, Chairperson of Jiribam Municipal Council as the chief guest, guest of honour and president respectively.

Hena Vaiphei, President of Tribal Union will be the Kut Pa and Haokholal Singson, ADC Member and Hatlhing Doungel, ADC member would be the chief hosts of the function while Executive members of Tamenglong ADC and SDOs of Tousem and Nungba would also attend the celebration as special invitees.

Presentation of traditional dances and Miss Kut contest are the highlights of the gala Kut celebration, said the statement.

Miss Kut aspirants can contact the Miss Kut sub committee before October 27 .
