Recruit Meitei Mayek teachers, says MEELAL

Imphal, August 26 2021: Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillol Apunba Lup (MEELAL) has urged the State Government to initiate the process of recruitment of Meitei Mayek teachers at the earliest.

MEELAL in a press release stated that students are facing many inconveniences since the Government has not recruited any teachers for Meitei Mayek till date though there are many eligible and qualified individuals who have studied Meitei Mayek till the Master's level.

The Education Minister also provided assurance that teachers for Meitei Mayek will be recruited however no concrete measures have been taken up for the same, MEELAL lamented.

In the interest of the students and the upcoming generations who are deprived of abled Meitei Mayek teachers ,MEELAL appealed the Government to take up measures to recruit Meitei Mayek teachers at the earliest failing which MEELAL will extend full support to MEMATESCA in any of their protest demanding for the same.
